New Macmillan Cancer Support Centre in Cromer: Feedback and Volunteers wanted

The North Norfolk Macmillan Cancer Support Centre is well on the way to taking shape, but once it’s finished, and supporting thousands of local people living with cancer, it will be so much more than bricks and mortar.

We’re running a recruitment drive for volunteers, who will be at the heart of supporting this service. Volunteering could mean anything from welcoming patients and their carers at the door, to offering a listening ear, and ensuring we’re fully stocked with cancer information leaflets.

Find out more about what these roles might entail and apply by contacting Anita Martins, Matron at Cromer and District Hospital, Mill Rd, Cromer, NR27 0BU or telephone 01603 646234.

We want the local community to have a hand in shaping the support services and activities on offer. Let us know what you’d like to see offered in the Centre, by scanning the QR code or by using the link on your computer and filling in this short survey https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/CromerHospitalMacmillanCancerSupportCentre/

CAAA Confidential Action Against Abuse

This small not for profit nationwide Christian charitable organisation has been set up to help protect the vulnerable ‘Hidden’ victims of sexual abuse.
We intend to pursue an amendment in law, which will entitle the genuine concerns of a third party to legally expose a suspected sexual predator for intensive questioning, who they believe has meticulously groomed a vulnerable loved one to unquestioningly accept abuse.
Should you be a parent, sibling, or close friend etc. with anxious concerns for a vulnerable adult who you believe has been groomed by a sexual abuser, please contact CAAA in confidence.
